Glowing

We all know what they say about pregnant
women "glowing." But there are some cases
where I can really, truly, see this happening.
I think Monique is one of them. She was so
beautiful, and it's hard to describe in a word
other than to say "glow." Pregnancy suits her
well...even here at the very end. She will be busy
with two little boys at home. I can speak from
experience...there is an adventure on the way!
Thank you to Monique, Jeff & sweet, talkative
little Julian for allowing me to capture this special
time in your lives.

Kids Personality Collages

I think these are the greatest things!
I call them Personality Pictures...I got the idea
from a site online, but now I can't remember
where I saw it. They look really wonderful
printed on canvas. If you would like to do one
for your child, I'd be happy to assist you with the
technical aspect and ordering. These are my two boys,
very different, but each so special to me. I thought it
was great to capture Archer's interests at seven, and
Preston's at "almost three."

Anniversary Photos

An Anniversary is a great time to get photos of yourself and
your significant other. I was so happy to be able to
photograph my friend's parents on their 40th anniversary.
Thanks to Janine and Dennis for putting up with me and
allowing me to photograph you. I hope that these are photos
you will treasure until your 50th!

The Easy-Cheese Experiment

So...this is basically the story of my life for the
last 5 or so years. Leave a little boy alone with anything
and destruction and havoc will reign. By the way, I only
walked out for a second... I'm sure many of you know what
it's like to have a busy, intense little boy around.
But, others may not. I once had a client tell me;
"My sons don't really get into things or destroy things,
they are just not like that." Well, excuse me while I go cry in
the closet. Mine ARE incredibly, incredibly destructive.
Everything in this house has been broken and/or ruined.
(most recently a $800 flat-screen TV, less than a year old)
And to all of you who have little girls. Little girls who will
sit, color, read, and basically help you clean up messes,
and not make them, well.... all I can say is ENJOY it now.
(and don't call me when they are 16!)
:) smiles....

Sarah True

Meet our cousin, Sarah True. For sure, she is truly sweet and beautiful. These huge blue eyes, and the cutest smile you've ever seen. (although yesterday she didn't give us a real big one)
7-8 months is a great age to shoot because the babies aren't usually moving around too fast, and it's very easy to keep them entertained and smiling. I love this age !
