My Cookie Obssession

A few of you might know about my recent cookie 

interest. This was 100% inspired by
 The Sweet Adventures of Sugar Belle Blog which
I happened to find through Pinterest.
Her cookies are over-the-top beautiful,
and I have a long way to go. I did want to share
with you a few of my favorite Valentines Day cookies
which I have been working on.

My son Archer also decorated a cookie !

I made quite a few cookies, and I plan on giving them
to the kids friends in their classes with their Valentine
Card on top. I bought some little cellophane bags and ribbon.
They will look like this at the end of packaging.

I was especially happy with the little nonpareil border
I made on the larger heart cookies...I made them by

first piping smalls balls around the border, and then

sprinkling the nonpareils on them. I let them dry and

then flooded the inside.

According to Callye at Sweet SugarBelle, frosted sugar cookies

stay fresh for a long time. I hoping they will still be moist 

and delicious two weeks from now on Valentines Day!

My son has a crush...

Tell me your son wouldn't have a crush on one of these

gorgeous girls ! Please tell me how one married couple

gets this lucky three times! These girls are also amazingly

sweet and polite too. I loved hanging out with them when

they were visiting from CA. The oldest one was one of my

very first newborn shoots twelve years ago.

 Where does the time go?

(She was a beautiful baby too.)These three girls are the

beautiful offspring of one of my dearest and oldest friends.

Abigail } one week young!

Little Abigail was a sweetheart during our

shoot ! She did so well, and I still can't believe

she was only one week old. She was incredibly

alert and strong. Here are just two of many photos

that turned out so well. I'm excited to edit the rest.

Sweet Smiling Amelia

 Oh, this is the sweetest girl ! Amelia just strikes

a special place in my heart. She was so happy and sweet 

during our shoot, and I probably got a higher % of great

shots than with any other two (and a half) year old ever !

We went to a new location in downtown Deland. The weather 

was gorgeous, and we really had fun getting these shots.

(except when the big city clock rung, but that's another story)

Thank you to Susan (and grandma) for bringing Amelia to

her two year old shoot!

GIO is ONE!!

 Giovanni did his absolute best yesterday...he had

tough conditions to contend with. The park was

cold and windy and he was not having the best time

of his life with taking photos...however, he managed to

give us just enough cute looks and smiles to make

the shoot a success! I can't believe he's a year old

already...and he is such a sweet boy !!
