This past weekend I was introduced to the very

sweet Harmon family, and the most exciting 

newest member…. Vanessa ! She was a doll, and although it 

was a touch chilly and windy, she still came through with

some really cute smiles. (well… grins!)  I wish you could see

her very cool and hand painted converse she was wearing.

Her mommy, Candace paints them, and you REALLY should

check them out …. they are incredible !

Meet a future Olympian! {Debary photography}

So this is Alexa… and I'd like you to know there's a very 

good chance you are looking at a future gymnastics star!

I say that, not only because she's walking at 9 months old…

but because she has her mommy's feet and that means she'll

be a lot like her mommy. Kim was a friend of mine in our

tween/teen years and we went to gymnastics camp together for

many summers. (we have SOME stories!!) She was much better

than I, and actually went to college on a gymnastics scholarship. 

This is her first daughter, Alexa, and she is a beauty!! I loved

meeting her and absolutely fell in love with her smile and 

sweet spirit. Keep your eye on this one!

Valentines day cousins! {shawna everett photography} {Gemini Springs}

It was a beautiful day at Gemini Springs on Saturday, Valentines day!

These are four of the cutest valentines ever. 

Check out the girls striped outfits from Etsy.  I love it when clients 

put things together with thought !  It really does make such a 

difference in family shoots. These kids did really wonderful. 

They were great listeners and really did help to make the shoot

easy, fun and a great success. I can't wait to start editing the rest!

Eli will be a big brother… {shawna everett photography}

Elijah is so lucky! He will be a big brother very soon. 

I can tell he will be an excellent help to mommy and he

will be a very good big brother to his new lil' brother!

Elijah did great during our shoot. He had a lot of fun

painting mommy's belly and running around in the park.

He is a great little guy and one of the sweetest I know. 

Now, lets bring on one more adorable Baldillo baby...

I can't wait to meet Kelley and Eric's next little guy!

Baby Emmett {Shawna Everett Photography}

I was excited to meet new baby Emmett yesterday.

He was a referral from a friend from high school. 

He did fabulous (especially towards the end) They all

do that to me! We always get the best shots in the 

last ten minutes. A big thank you to Stacey and Steven

for coming out to meet me and allowing me to photograph

your precious son!

Sweet baby Lily came to see me from 

far way yesterday! A big thanks to Jonathan and Kelly

for bringing her over. What a beautiful baby she is! 

I hope I get to see her at 6 months. She gave us a little 

run for our money, but overall,  she was just precious!

Kennedy's back! {Downtown Sanford Holiday shoot}

Kennedy has just returned from a sojourn in the Great 

Pacific Northwest!  I was so happy to see her again. 

Kennedy is one of the most expressionistic children 

I've ever been around.  I almost titled this post, 

"The many faces of Kennedy"

She's really busy and super sweet. I know she keeps

mommy and daddy on their toes all the time.  I loved

seeing the Schaber family again. Thank you so 

much for coming out for a Holiday shoot!

Brouhard Family {Deland Family photos}

Every time I see a family that I only see once a year,

it is so exciting to visit and to see how big and 

mature their kids are getting. Nicole's family is no exception.

Gavin is so, so handsome and he has to be just the sweetest

little boy I've ever met.  It was such an amazing evening out

at my secret location in Deland. The sun was perfect. It was not windy,

and the temperature, although a bit warm… was nice too. I was so

happy to capture such a beautiful family. Shoots like these

are always so enjoyable. Thank you Jerome and Nicole (and Gavin!)

for coming to see me again!

New friends at the beach! { Shawna Everett Photography}

I'm lucky to know a lot all of my clients personally before

we shoot, and also some are good friends. Others, become good

friends as we shoot year after year. I'm so lucky!  Two shoots

at the beach this past weekend fit that description! I'm happy

to introduce this gorgeous family to my special spot

at New Symrna, and also to all of you. Everyone did

great including Mother Nature giving us some beautiful 

weather and some gorgeous skies. (ok. I might have enhanced that

last part just a bit!) Thank you to Gernelle and Dan and all

the kids for meeting me at the beach for your Holiday Shoot.

Once a year, I get to catch up with all my lovely

families that I have the honor of shooting. This year is no

different, and I'm jam-packed until December with 

families. The Kelton family is a great way to start.

 With these two beauties… it's a sweet start

to a great season. I take that back…. I mean THREE

beauties! Thank you Erin and Mike for meeting me

at the park this year!

Drama at the Beach {Shawna Everett Photography}

Drama at the beach… with the weather that is. Oh my goodness...

We finished this shoot by the skin of out teeth! It was raining off 

and on, and poor Kelly was changing outfits in the car while I 

was trying to protect my camera. But, the good news is we finished,

and with some very cool photos (I think). Sometimes the cloudy and

stormy skies at the beach are amazing! I did enhance some

 of these skies. (but that's ok, right?)  What a pretty pregnant momma-to be…

 and daddy was very helpful too. I'm so excited to meet this little

one. Thank you for choosing me to share this very special

time in your lives, Kelly and Jonathan !
