Pretty mama to be! {shawna everett photography}

This is itsy bitsy Linh and her husband ! They are expecting 

a baby boy in July and I was really excited to

meet them at Gemini Springs for their pregnancy shoot

this past weekend. It was a little hot out, but once we got into 

the Orlando Magic clothing, things got more relaxed

and fun. I think she's just about the cutest pregnant

mama ever, don't you? !

I was excited to meet new baby Emmett yesterday.

He was a referral from a friend from high school. 

He did fabulous (especially towards the end) They all

do that to me! We always get the best shots in the 

last ten minutes. A big thank you to Stacey and Steven

for coming out to meet me and allowing me to photograph

your precious son!

Kennedy's back! {Downtown Sanford Holiday shoot}

Kennedy has just returned from a sojourn in the Great 

Pacific Northwest!  I was so happy to see her again. 

Kennedy is one of the most expressionistic children 

I've ever been around.  I almost titled this post, 

"The many faces of Kennedy"

She's really busy and super sweet. I know she keeps

mommy and daddy on their toes all the time.  I loved

seeing the Schaber family again. Thank you so 

much for coming out for a Holiday shoot!

Sweetest Adelaide {big sister!}

I was so happy to catch up with this family!

Absolutely precious, this Adelaide turned out to be...

She will be a big sister very soon. We had

a great shoot at the park despite cloudy skies.

I can't wait to meet little brother, who's making his debut

shortly at the birth center in Sanford. Thank you to 

the beautiful Christy and Luke for sharing your belly moments

with me!

Drama at the Beach {Shawna Everett Photography}

Drama at the beach… with the weather that is. Oh my goodness...

We finished this shoot by the skin of out teeth! It was raining off 

and on, and poor Kelly was changing outfits in the car while I 

was trying to protect my camera. But, the good news is we finished,

and with some very cool photos (I think). Sometimes the cloudy and

stormy skies at the beach are amazing! I did enhance some

 of these skies. (but that's ok, right?)  What a pretty pregnant momma-to be…

 and daddy was very helpful too. I'm so excited to meet this little

one. Thank you for choosing me to share this very special

time in your lives, Kelly and Jonathan !

Sweetest Weslee Rose {Debary photography}

Oh my goodness… this is why 6-7 month old babies are

THE BEST! They are happy, smiley and full of

joy. Every last one of them. I don't think I can even

think of an exception.  {{Wait. Maybe my son. }} 

Ok, I'll save that story for another blog post. Weslee 

came to see me for her 6 month shoot and we had so 

much fun in bubbles and hats. I loved seeing her

and her pretty momma too. Thank you 

Nikki, for making the drive and choosing me

for 6 month photos...  Always love seeing all of you!!

Beach Love {New Smyrna Beach Photos}

I love catching up with the Scott family! Beautiful evening at 

the beach last night and it was awesome to watch their 

kids play and run around. (and that they did!)

We also did family shots, but those will require a bit

more work, so I'll share these for now. Olivia is a little

button. I must have flagged 100 photos of just

her so far! And Michael is so handsome and 

good with his sister. There's no place

better than the beach for a shoot, and we got so lucky

last night. Great family, great smiles, and good fun!

Sweet and Sleepy baby Joseph… {Debary Newborn Photography}

I said, "after 14 years of photographing newborns, 

 Joseph was in the top five of all time." They laughed and said

 "you probably say that about all the babies"…

but no, they don't know. Joseph was a STAR! A true gem to 

photograph today! I absolutely couldn't wait to share these.

Not every baby allows you to move them all around, easily

settling back into position again and again. I loved spending time

with him today. I will always have a very soft place in my heart

for babies like him who shine and make my job

so much easier. A huge thanks to Danielle and Joey

for coming to share their beautiful bundle of joy

with me today. It was a pleasure!

The sun shines on Rosemarie… {pregnancy photos}

I was delighted to meet another one of Dr. Lopez's

patients (he was my ob/gyn), Rosemarie! She was the

sweetest thing ever, and is so excited about becoming

a mom. We had quite an eventful day, weather-wise. 

In the end, it ended up being pure magic. Sometimes when

you take a risk and decide to shoot despite it being cloudy or rainy,

the sun will come out and surprise you at the very end. That is 

exactly what happened to me and Rosemarie. 

It really was a wonderful moment, the sun coming out just 

for her, it seemed, at the very end. Shining through all the mist 

and fog. She is a beautiful lady, and she deserved it.

Pregnancy shoot at Gemini Springs

This is Kim, and she has an awesome pregnant belly.

I was very happy to capture this friend-of-a-friend this

week, right before it got cold and grey. You might remember 

Tuesday evening...

It was a warm, lovely evening and perfect for a shoot.

The stars were aligned for Kim, because the next day it

turned into this! (look out your window, lol)

Kim is expecting a girl, and the great news is, I get

to meet her too, and photograph her ! So happy!

You all KNOW how much I adore girls. 

A big thank you to Esther for treating Kim to a 

special shoot to remember, and also to Kim

for coming out so I could meet you!

Sisters at the beach ! {Kelton family shoot}

I'm so lucky I get to meet new, happy families

each fall ! This year is no different, and this is one sweet,

happy family. The Kelton family met me in New Symrna

for their Holiday beach shoot. It was a bit windy, but the 

temperature was good and these girls did awesome. 

They are cute little sweethearts, and I really 

enjoyed my time with them. Of course, you all already

know how much I adore girls, being that I don't have one

myself! A big thank you to Erin and Mike for taking the time 

to capture some memories at the beach this fall ! I'll

be working diligently on the rest of your show...
