We had a great shoot in Downtown Sanford, 

beat the rain and the kids did fantastic too!

I guess that happens when you are 7 and 12.

Welcoming number three !

There are some little girls that I just see and 

immediately know they will be photogenic in front

of the camera. Madeline is one of those

girls!  Now... this post is supposed to be about her mommy

and how this family is getting ready to welcome a

new baby into their lives, so I'll get to that in a second.

But for now let me say, Ms. Madeline, you stole my heart with 

your sweet face and big blue eyes, and I hope I get to photograph

you again some day! Big brother Jaden did AMAZING during our

shoot, and I think he was hands-down the best 6 yr old boy ever!

To the rest of the Hampson family, thank you so much for

coming out to Gemini Springs for a pregnancy/family shoot.

I can't wait to meet baby number three!

Meeting Khloe

I was so lucky to meet Khloe and her family

this week. She is a nine-day old baby doll, and

she is so loved by everyone around her. 

She has two older brothers and one older sister. 

She will be well-protected and have someone

to play with! Khloe did great during our shoot

and she really was pooped at the end when we got the 

best shot of all....so typical of my baby friends!

A big Thank you to the Diaz family for 

choosing me to capture this special time in Khloe's

life!

Sweet Adelaide

I was so excited to meet Adelaide, as we had just

done her mommy's pregnancy photos a couple of 

weeks earlier. How sweet is she! So loved by her parents

and.....her dog, Sammie! Sammie was watching over her  

pretty good during the shoot and we even

caught her giving her a kiss. She has taken Adelaide

under her protection, and it's so cool to see that. 

The shoot was fantastic as Christy and Luke have the

best light ever at their home. I'm very excited to edit the rest 

of these. A big thank you to Adelaide, mom and dad 

for letting me capture this very precious time.

6 weeks left! {Pregnancy Photography}

I had the privilege of photographing Maria &

Christian Basso yesterday at Gemini Springs.

They are awaiting the arrival of their first baby due

in October.  Maria has a beautiful belly and 

she chose gorgeous clothing for our shoot. 

The red dress was stunning on her and went so 

well with her dark hair. It was a great shoot

and the breeze and fall air was so nice this time of

year at Gemini. Thank you so much for allowing me

to capture this very special time! I can't wait to meet

the baby!

Waiting for Zoey

I'm so lucky in my job to get to meet such nice

people ! This couple is a perfect example of that 

thought. Emily and Toby came to me for maternity

photos and we had a wonderful and fun time together

capturing this special time. I'm also looking forward 

to photographing their due-any-day daughter Zoey, as well.

I can't wait ! I just know she's going to be SO gorgeous!

They are birthing at Heart 2 Heart birth center in Sanford.

Beautifully pregnant...

I've been getting so lucky lately, meeting the most

beautiful pregnant women and the men that love them.

I had the pleasure of photographing Christy and Luke 

yesterday who are getting ready to welcome their

 first baby into the world. Their Shepherd Sammie, is

sure to watch over this baby with love as well. 

They have a beautiful home on the water 

and it was a very creative place to shoot. I'm 

starting to get the hang of these "at-home" shoots.

I had a great time, and definitely look forward to meeting

their bundle of joy. A big thank you to 

Christy and Luke for allowing me to capture 

this special time.

Brother and Sister Love !

I did a super cute Spring Shoot with Gavin and Reese

this weekend. The first thing Gavin wanted to point out to me was 

that his sister Reese was in the car. These two kids

are SO beautiful and so sweet too. They are calm, cool

and collected. (at least they were for me!) and I really

enjoyed our shoot at the park. No doubt mommy has

her hands full with two toddlers....but Maria does a 

fantastic job with them and it shows. Thank you to this bunch

 for meeting me at the park.  I can't wait to edit the rest !

One week to go!

Katrina and I had a great day at the park and at the docks,

shooting her beautiful baby bump. I know... it's hard to believe she

only has a week left with how great she looks!  She is such a sweet girl,

and I really enjoyed our time together. The best part of my job

is meeting all the fantastic girls and making new friends! 

I can only hope she'll allow me to meet her baby girl when she

arrives. I think we are definitely set to see a beautiful

baby from this one!  Good Luck at your birth Katrina...

and thanks for coming for photos!

The Grandkids

My mom needed a recent photo of her four grand-boys for a special wall portrait.
So I took the kids out to a place I often shoot and we got them together, sat them on buckets, and prayed for one good shot. Nope ! Didn't happen. The photo you see here is THREE photos with heads swapped. I'm not kidding when I say these four are very difficult to get a nice candid photo of. (with everyone looking at least somewhat toward the camera.)
Individual shots are a piece of cake, but overall, these boys make me crazy!
