Family at Gemini {Shawna Everett Photography}

This past weekend I was introduced to the very

sweet Harmon family, and the most exciting 

newest member…. Vanessa ! She was a doll, and although it 

was a touch chilly and windy, she still came through with

some really cute smiles. (well… grins!)  I wish you could see

her very cool and hand painted converse she was wearing.

Her mommy, Candace paints them, and you REALLY should

Noah growing up !!

I'm so lucky to get to see this sweet little guy every year.

I have to say, I think he has the gentlest and most natural

smile of any five year old I've ever photographed.

Just look at that sweet expression and kind face!

Watching Noah grow up since birth has been really

special. I'm so glad his mom and dad continue to come every

year and get their Holiday photos done with me!

Welcoming number three !

There are some little girls that I just see and 

immediately know they will be photogenic in front

of the camera. Madeline is one of those

girls!  Now... this post is supposed to be about her mommy

and how this family is getting ready to welcome a

new baby into their lives, so I'll get to that in a second.

But for now let me say, Ms. Madeline, you stole my heart with 

your sweet face and big blue eyes, and I hope I get to photograph

you again some day! Big brother Jaden did AMAZING during our

shoot, and I think he was hands-down the best 6 yr old boy ever!

To the rest of the Hampson family, thank you so much for

coming out to Gemini Springs for a pregnancy/family shoot.

I can't wait to meet baby number three!

Shelley & Justin

I had a shoot with the greatest parents-to-be

yesterday! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting this

couple. We had a terrific shoot and even dodged

the afternoon rain. Shelley and Justin are expecting

their first baby in just 8 weeks. They will 

get to experience parenthood with a baby girl.

Lucky them, is all I can say!! I cannot wait to

meet their baby, and I just know she will be 

gorgeous. Thank you to both of you for your

enthusiasm and for allowing me to capture

this special time for you!

Baby Declan on the way!

I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely family at Gemini

Springs this week. Kristine and AJ are expecting their first baby boy

very soon.  Sister Sophia is sure to be a great big-sister.  Kristine made 

this very cool pregnancy sash and I thought it was so beautiful I wanted 

to show it in the sneak peek. The idea is to also photograph the baby in it

Sweet Couple

I had a great shoot yesterday with a fantastic

couple who is expecting their first child in a couple

of weeks. Emerson and Nicole will be welcoming

baby Atlas (coolest name EVER!) at Heart to Heart

Birth center in Sanford. Nicole was very fearless,

climbing over fences and wading into pretty murky

water to get this water shot at Gemini Springs. 

Emerson was a great help when the Gemini Springs

police force (riding on a garden tractor) busted us.

"It's my first child, just give us ten more shots"! 

Loved it!! Thank you so much for your adventurous

spirits and for allowing me to capture this beautiful 

time in your lives. 

Brother Liam is on the way!

Oh how I love photographing Emily. 

Delicate, blond, sweet, beautiful and very feminine!

She's everything I'd like in a daughter ! ;)

Soon she will be a big sister... The Douglas family will

be welcoming brother Liam in May. 

I am so happy for them, and we got together to capture

images of mommy's beautiful (little) belly!

Most of all I liked looking at Emily's beautiful

little face next to it!

Hooray for Lilly! 

One of my favorite little sweethearts is getting a 

sister...and she's going to do great!

We shot some photos at the park this weekend to document

this special time. Jessica and Ryan will have another

beautiful daughter to love. I'm so excited to meet her

and to see how surprised Lilly is when seeing that

brand new little face. The love between siblings

is something I wouldn't want anyone to miss. It is

another dimension completely when having a family.

I'll never forget the moment Archer saw Preston and 

held him for the first time.  It's an amazing love.

How we've grown...

 WOW...

One thing I love most about my job is watching 

the kids grow throughout the years. These are the beautiful

Maier kids, and they are really growing up! 

How easy it was to get great natural photos yesterday

now that they are a bit older. Another thing that has 

grown is my photography skill. I'm amazed that at the time (07')

I probably thought these close-ups were good....

I'm happy to say I think the recent shots blow them away.

Drew & Cameron, 10 Years STRONG ! {Children's Photography}

I've known the Anderson boys  for over 10 years now. 

Cameron was my VERY first newborn shoot ever, 

(who wasn't a friend or family member)

Over the years, these two boys have grown more

handsome by the minute. They are now talented 

hockey & golf players in Denver, CO. I miss seeing

them every year, but I am lucky that they still 

vacation in FL, and we can sneak a shoot in now and

then. A HUGE thank you and hugs to mom and dad

Jennifer and Kyle for bringing them over.

It was wonderful to see you all again !

The Hudick Family

 I was very happy to get the chance to photograph

my son's 2nd grade teacher and her family.

What a great looking family, and what a 

beautiful day for photos out at Gemini Springs.

 Amy is an amazing teacher who

genuinely cares and nurtures her students.

We are very lucky to have her in Archer's

life everyday. Every weekday, that is. I keep

forgetting to ask her if she's available on weekends!
