Ms. Beautiful… {shawna everett photography}

Today I met a beautiful baby girl! Her name is Kami and 

she made it through her first photo shoot with only a few 

small bumps along the way. It was cold and she is tiny. 

I'm sure she's happy to be back in mama's nice warm arms now. 

She is just precious, blond and perfect skin. Beautiful lips..

I love baby girls and this one is no exception. I  hope I get

to see her again in the future. Thank you to Laura and Brian

for braving the cold weather and long drive to have her photos

taken. Loved meeting you both…

Baby Blake

Baby Blake was a dream-baby! What a sweet little (big) guy...

He slept almost the whole shoot, and his mommy says

he's a super-sleeper. I really enjoyed meeting Lori's second

baby.  His big sister, Madison, was a great help too, and even

held baby brother and gave him a kiss. they are seriously both

beautiful babies. thank you to Diane for sharing your home and

helping to make this newborn shoot a success! 

and a big thank you to Lori too, for contacting me to do your

newborn photos. 

Baby Mikey!

I was so happy to meet this sweet Baby.

He had a scary little start, but is doing fabulous now!

I'm so happy for Susan and Michael, and his shoot

yesterday was so special and fun. He never cried, not even

once... What a special boy! A huge thanks to Susan and 

Michael for making such a long drive to capture

your son's new-ness. I will be editing all of these

and will be back in touch soon!

Baby Atlas is here!

Well. That didn't take long! Two days after the post below, baby

Atlas decided to make his debut! What a doll he is ! Mommy Nicole and

Daddy Emerson could not be more proud and in love with their

baby boy. He is a real sweetheart and very alert and in tune

with his environment. We had a great shoot, and I have to 

say I don't know if any 9 day old baby has ever been this

bright-eyed and alert for me. To get one this young to look

directly into the camera is not usually something I see. 

He is indeed, a very special boy. 

Congratulations to you both, and thank you so much

for coming for a shoot !

Meet Charlie! { Newborn-Workshop-for new mommies }

Meet Charlie....Monique's LUCKY number  three !

I'm so completely jealous that she has her two beautiful

boys and then had her very own "three's a charm!" 

(and on Valentine's day too....how perfect is that?)

We had a newborn workshop // photo session for Monique

because she loves taking photos and I thought I'd give her

every tip I know about newborn photography. If you or someone you

know really loves taking photos and wants to learn how to use

their digital DLSR better, AND has a new baby....than this workshop

is the perfect choice!  You can bring your own camera and shoot

right along beside me. I edit  your photos and post them to a slideshow 

as is normally done. It is a 3 hour session and I will answer any

questions you have, plus tell you what I'm doing every step
