Class of 2012

I had the privilege of photographing a
beautiful girl on Sunday. Danielle is
the first senior I've photographed from the class
of 2012.  She is the sweetest thing on this planet and
she is an awesome athlete too!  Danielle has to be one of the most
photogenic girls ever. I have no idea how I will sort
through this many--good photos. I want to extend a big
thank you to such a terrific client, Lisa Cashon, who sent this
beautiful girl my way. Also, a big thanks to Darlene and
Danielle for all the work to make this a great senior shoot.
Thanks for coming!

Brother Liam is on the way!

Oh how I love photographing Emily.
Delicate, blond, sweet, beautiful and very feminine!
She's everything I'd like in a daughter ! ;)
Soon she will be a big sister... The Douglas family will
be welcoming brother Liam in May.
I am so happy for them, and we got together to capture
images of mommy's beautiful (little) belly!
Most of all I liked looking at Emily's beautiful
little face next to it!
Thank you to Alicia and Travis for such a
special shoot.

Lilly will be a big sister!

Hooray for Lilly!
One of my favorite little sweethearts is getting a
sister...and she's going to do great!
We shot some photos at the park this weekend to document
this special time. Jessica and Ryan will have another
beautiful daughter to love. I'm so excited to meet her
and to see how surprised Lilly is when seeing that
brand new little face. The love between siblings
is something I wouldn't want anyone to miss. It is
another dimension completely when having a family.
I'll never forget the moment Archer saw Preston and
held him for the first time.  It's an amazing love.

A big thank you to Jessica, Ryan and Lilliana
for coming to the park for photos!

Meet Charlie! { Newborn-Workshop-for new mommies }

Meet Charlie....Monique's LUCKY number  three !
I'm so completely jealous that she has her two beautiful
boys and then had her very own "three's a charm!"
(and on Valentine's day too....how perfect is that?)

We had a newborn workshop // photo session for Monique
because she loves taking photos and I thought I'd give her
every tip I know about newborn photography. If you or someone you
know really loves taking photos and wants to learn how to use
their digital DLSR better, AND has a new baby....than this workshop
is the perfect choice!  You can bring your own camera and shoot
right along beside me. I edit  your photos and post them to a slideshow
as is normally done. It is a 3 hour session and I will answer any
questions you have, plus tell you what I'm doing every step
of the way. It is a lot of fun ! Inquire with me about pricing.
(offer also available for toddlers, family, etc)

... A big thank you to Monique for bringing beautiful
Charlie for a session!

Olivia turns ONE!

Olivia did so awesome for her one year portraits!
She was the cutest, sweetest little thing and
smiled and laughed a ton. (she also got some
extra nutrition from eating grass at the park) !! I didn't
realize how much until I went through all the photos.
We had a lot of fun watching her brother Michael
interact with her as she sat on the grass at the park,
but I think her favorite part was sitting in the
bubble bath in my backyard tub! What a CuTiE !
Thanks Katie (and Mike) for coming for
photos again... :)

Ashlynn at 6 weeks young {newborn photography}

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful
6 week old baby girl this week. She was so delicate
and soft. (girls are so much different than boys!)
Ms. Ashlynn gave us barely a whimper during our shoot
and we moved quickly through all the setups.
She was tiny too.... and that made her all the
sweeter to photograph. Mom brought some very
timeless pieces of clothing, so we had fun
capturing those too. A big thank you to a great client
and terrific mom, Erin, for bringing Ashlynn to meet me!

One week to go!

Katrina and I had a great day at the park and at the docks,
shooting her beautiful baby bump. I know... it's hard to believe she
only has a week left with how great she looks!  She is such a sweet girl,
and I really enjoyed our time together. The best part of my job
is meeting all the fantastic girls and making new friends!
I can only hope she'll allow me to meet her baby girl when she
arrives. I think we are definitely set to see a beautiful
baby from this one!  Good Luck at your birth Katrina...
and thanks for coming for photos!
