The Vento Family

Meet the Vento family, all the way from Pittsburgh, PA!

They came to see me this week during a trip to Disney. Three

super cute grandkids in tow, we met at Gemini Springs Park

for a full family shoot and then broke up into individual

families. The rain passed for us, and I was so happy !

Everyone was looking their best in Steelers jerseys, 

even little baby Alana!  A big thank you to the entire family. 

I know it was not easy coordinating and driving so far for a shoot.

I hope the memorable photos will really make it

worth your time and energy!

Gavin and Reese at the park with mom!

This is what we did before the concept shoot, a little

time with mom at the park. They were so good throughout

the entire shoot!

Tee-Pee at Sunset....{second concept shoot}

I can't say enough good about Gavin and Reese. 

For a 2 and 3 year old,  I was just amazed at how 

well they listened and how interested in the 

whole shoot they were. It was really so cool!

 They looked so cute in their little old-fashioned clothes. 

This was my second concept shoot. 

I was so happy with the outcome. I made the Tee-Pee, 

Reese's skirt, and the bow tie. I own the suspenders and hat.

 If anyone else has youngsters this age, I'll be happy to re-create the

shoot for you as well. Just let me know!

Big thanks to Maria as well for being so accommodating with my

plans and with the whole shoot concept!

Jaedyn's new lil' brother !

Jaedyn came to see me with her new

little brother, Lukas! So happy for the whole

Tegg family. They really have a sweet bundle

of joy to celebrate. Jaedyn sat still for just long enough

for us to get some cute brother/sister photos. 

Little Lukas did very well at his first photo

shoot, especially considering the cold morning

we had. A giant thank you to Desirea and Joe

for making the long trip with a newborn

to see me, and to capture this special time.

Sweet Twin Girls!

I was so lucky to photograph the most beautiful

baby girl twins earlier this week.

Meet Quinn and Willa ! They did exceptionally

well at their photo shoot debut. They love snuggling

together for sure. They smile a lot in their sleep, 

so they must be the happiest girls!

A big thank you to Patricia and Michael

for making a long trip to see me. I know how hard

that is with just one at this age.

I will keep working and get back to you with your

slideshow!

The Gunn Family

Tell me this isn't one handsome family! 

The Gunn family from my neighborhood met

me at Gemini Springs this weekend for a short and sweet

family session. (so easy when you don't have toddlers)

It went so fast I hardly remember it! LOL

Anyway, they look great in their shades of blue, 

and Ms. Margie did a fantastic job of outfitting

all her boys for a family portrait! Well done !

Home Made SuperHero's !

I have a lot of lofty goals this year: getting in shape,

eating better, being more creative, starting classes for mom's

who want to learn how to use their DSLR's...the list goes on.

But another of my goals is to be more creative with

my business. With my photography.

I want to start what's known as "concept shoots." 

They are shoots that may take a little more planning on my end, but

the results are a more creative as well. My goal is to do one per

month this year. I hope the concept idea spills over into my 

children's photography. Specifically, that parents will come

to me sometimes with an idea, and we will work together to 

create a shoot that is UNIQUE, special and that could not ever 

 be easily re-produced. Time to step it up a notch!

So here is my first go! The idea, inspired by the many kids

(six seen here) who play with Preston on a daily

basis. A big Thank You to little Gavin. Even though he has

no idea....his cool Florida State cape (made all by himself)

was the spark that fueled my interest in this shoot.
